Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming pan-Indian action thriller “I Am Game” is being positioned as the most stylish film of his career, with a grand worldwide release planned for August 2026.
Dulquer Salmaan is gearing up to surprise audiences with “I Am Game,” a high-budget action thriller directed by Nahas Hidayath. The film has already emerged as one of the most anticipated Malayalam projects among movie lovers. Having completed shooting across more than 100 locations in South India, the movie is currently in the post-production stage. Dulquer Salmaan recently revealed that “I Am Game” will be the most stylish film of his career, featuring a completely modern and visually dynamic world. According to the actor, the director intentionally designed the character and overall presentation to showcase him in a fresh and stylish avatar unlike anything he has done before.
The film is being mounted as the biggest project in Dulquer Salmaan’s career and is expected to become one of the largest releases in Malayalam cinema. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under the Wayfarer Films banner, the screenplay has been written by Shahabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran. The project also marks Nahas Hidayath’s next directorial venture after the blockbuster “RDX.” Dulquer mentioned that while many of his recent films featured vintage-inspired looks, “I Am Game” will present him in a stylish mass-action transformation that brings a fresh energy to his screen presence. The movie is also significant as it marks the actor’s milestone 40th film.
“I Am Game” features a strong ensemble cast including Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari, and Samyuktha Viswanathan in important roles. The music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the action sequences are choreographed by the popular stunt duo Anbariv. Earlier released first-look and second-look posters created strong buzz across social media, raising expectations for the film even further. Designed as a grand-scale pan-Indian entertainer, “I Am Game” is set to release worldwide in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages during August 2026.
