IndiGo Pauses Six Overseas Routes

IndiGo has announced a temporary suspension of flights to six international destinations, affecting passengers planning trips to parts of Southeast Asia and China. The airline will pause services to Langkawi, Krabi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong and Shanghai from July 1, 2026, while flights to Siem Reap will stop from July 3, 2026.

Why IndiGo Is Suspending These Flights

The airline said the move is part of a limited network adjustment due to softer travel demand and a challenging cost environment. Reports also mention continued airspace restrictions as one of the pressures affecting international operations.

What Passengers Should Know

The suspension is expected to continue till September 30, 2026. Bookings for the affected routes are expected to resume from October 1, depending on market conditions and operational feasibility. Passengers with planned trips on these routes should check refund, rescheduling and alternate flight options through IndiGo’s official channels.

Despite these temporary cuts, most of IndiGo’s international network remains active. For travellers, the key step is to check flight status before booking holidays, business trips or connecting flights on the affected routes.
