29-Year-Old Tourist Found Dead At Isha Yoga Centre In Coimbatore
A 29-year-old man from Villupuram was found dead inside the Isha Yoga Centre premises in Coimbatore, with police saying CCTV footage showed no suspicious activity.
A 29-year-old tourist from Villupuram district was found dead inside the Isha Yoga Centre premises in Coimbatore, police said. The deceased has been identified as Karthi, a native of Siruvadi, who had been living in Coimbatore for about a year and working as a Hitachi operator.
Man Found Injured Near Parking Area
According to officials, security personnel at the centre received information on the evening of June 7 that an unidentified man was lying seriously injured near the car parking exit area. Staff members rushed to the spot and alerted the 108 ambulance service. Medical personnel later declared him dead.
Police Review CCTV Footage
Police said Karthi had visited the Isha Yoga Centre as a tourist on June 6. The Alandurai Police registered a case under Section 194 of the BNSS and began an inquiry.
Investigators reviewed CCTV footage from the premises and said there was no evidence of another person’s involvement or any suspicious activity before the incident. Police have ruled out foul play based on the initial probe.
Body Handed Over To Family
The body was handed over to the family after the autopsy. Further inquiry is being carried out as per procedure.
