INDIA Bloc To Meet Every Two Months After Delhi Strategy Push

INDIA Bloc Plans Regular Meetings After Key Delhi Huddle

The INDIA bloc has decided to meet more often after its Delhi meeting, even as DMK and AAP stayed away from the opposition huddle.

The INDIA bloc used its Delhi meeting to send a message of renewed coordination after recent political setbacks and internal differences. According to post-meeting updates, 25 parties took part in the opposition huddle, while DMK and AAP skipped the event. The absence of two key parties kept the focus on unity challenges within the alliance.

Opposition Plans Regular Meetings

One of the major decisions from the meeting was to hold discussions every two months. The next formal meeting is expected to take place in Hyderabad in August. This gives the alliance a fixed schedule to review national politics, sharpen coordination and prepare for future electoral battles.

CJI Letter, Student Issues On Agenda

The bloc also decided to write to the Chief Justice of India over concerns linked to the Special Intensive Revision process and alleged election-related issues. It also raised student concerns and demanded accountability over alleged irregularities affecting NEET and CBSE candidates.

Why This Meeting Matters

The meeting comes at a time when the opposition is trying to rebuild momentum against the BJP-led NDA. Mamata Banerjee’s presence also drew attention because of the pressure facing TMC after the recent political turmoil. For the INDIA bloc, the real test will be whether regular meetings can turn into stronger seat-sharing and ground-level coordination.
