Candidates who qualified in JEE Advanced 2026 are now eligible to participate in the JoSAA 2026 counselling process. Through JoSAA counselling, students can fill their choices for IITs and other participating engineering institutes. However, qualifying in JEE Advanced does not automatically confirm admission. Seat allotment will depend on eligibility rules, category, availability of seats, choices submitted by candidates and other conditions mentioned in the official information brochure.
Students are advised to download their scorecards, verify their ranks and prepare their list of preferred institutes and branches before counselling begins. High-demand branches such as computer science, artificial intelligence, electronics, mathematics and computing, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are expected to see strong competition.
The JEE Advanced 2026 result is a key milestone for thousands of students hoping to enter India’s top engineering institutions. With 56,880 candidates qualifying, the focus now shifts to JoSAA counselling and the race for seats across IITs and other premier technical institutes.
