YSRCP questions TDP Mahanadu and Mega DSC recruitment row
YSRCP Targets TDP Mahanadu
YSRCP spokesperson Naga Malleswari has sharply criticised the TDP Mahanadu, calling it a political drama planned to divert public attention from the alleged Mega DSC scam and growing dissatisfaction against the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli, she alleged that the Chandrababu Naidu government had failed to show major development, welfare progress, or governance achievements after two years in power.
Malleswari claimed that the present Mahanadu was very different from the one held during NTR’s time. She alleged that even TDP workers stayed away from virtual meetings, and that the ruling party relied on publicity, emotional speeches, and attacks on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to mask public anger.
Mega DSC Row Becomes Political Flashpoint
Questioning the Mega DSC recruitment process, Malleswari asked how a person accused of uploading the DSC question paper allegedly secured a top rank. She described the issue as “Daga DSC” and accused the government of failing to provide transparency in the selection process. However, the article did not include an immediate response from the TDP to these allegations.
She also criticised the government over unfulfilled promises such as Aadabidda Nidhi, free bus travel, free gas cylinders and welfare guarantees for women. Earlier, YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of irregularities in the DSC process, including paper leaks, merit list manipulation, and lack of transparency. The controversy has now become a major talking point in Andhra Pradesh politics.
