CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal Gets 56,000 Applications, Cyber Attack Blocked

CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal Sees Heavy Student Rush

CBSE says its re-evaluation portal remained active despite heavy student traffic and a major cyber attack attempt.

CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal Faces Huge Rush After Results

The CBSE re-evaluation process has become a major concern for students and parents after more than 56,000 applications were submitted on the board’s verification and re-evaluation portal by 9.30 pm on June 3, 2026. The applications are linked to post-result services such as verification of marks and re-evaluation of answer scripts, mainly for Class 12 students seeking clarity after board results.

Cyber Attack Blocked During Heavy Traffic

Amid this rush, CBSE said its portal was targeted by a large denial-of-service attack. The board said a 3.8 million-packet attack was successfully blocked, while the website continued to remain accessible for genuine users. This is important because thousands of students are depending on the online system to complete time-sensitive requests.

CBSE said technical teams are monitoring the platform round the clock and improving performance to keep the portal stable, faster, and easier to use. For students, the key message is clear: the portal is active, applications are being processed, and the board is focusing on both security and smoother access during the re-evaluation window.
