S Krishna's HIGH Movie Set for November 27 Release
Known for his association with filmmaker Anil Ravipudi and for co-writing several blockbusters, S Krishna makes his debut as a director with HIGH. He has also written the film, plays a key role in it and co-produces it with Harish Peddi and Sekhar Divvela. The cast includes Ananya Sharma, Pallavi Dora, Krishna Kamal, Sai Krishna and Revanth, known as Bulliraju, alongside Krishna.
The makers announced November 27 as the film’s worldwide theatrical release date. Its release poster uses a bold red background, radiating patterns and turquoise streaks to create a vibrant, comic-book-inspired look. The ensemble artwork brings together the lead characters in distinct poses and expressions: Bulliraju reaches forward from the top centre, while Pallavi Dora and Ananya Sharma appear on the left. Krishna Kamal and Sai Krishna feature on the right, with S Krishna prominently placed in the lower-right corner.
Interconnected Stories Explore Different “Highs”
The film follows characters seeking different kinds of highs through emotional, psychological and moral choices. One woman is in despair and wishes to end her life; another pursues pleasure through money and alcohol. A young woman finds strength in reclaiming her self-respect, while her lover chases the thrill of dangerous bets. Through these intertwined journeys, HIGH examines the consequences of destructive choices and suggests that lasting fulfilment comes from choosing a better path.
The previously released teaser offered a glimpse of S Krishna’s bold storytelling and the cast’s intense performances. The makers say the film’s content is aimed largely at Gen Z audiences, with its mix of youthful energy, drama and emotion. The release poster also hints at the varied personalities at the centre of the story.
