Director, producer and actor Poorvaaj has announced a ₹1 crore prize for the person who correctly guesses the second-half twist in Killer. The sci-fi thriller, starring Jyoti Poorvaj and Poorvaaj, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 30.
Killer Team Announces Audience Contest
At a press meet in Hyderabad, Poorvaaj said the film has a distinctive twist that audiences have not seen in other films. He explained that the contest has specific rules prepared with the help of a High Court advocate. The prize winner will be announced at the film’s success meet, with the result determined according to the rules and the time the correct answer is received.
Premieres are scheduled for October 29 at 10 p.m. Contestants must watch the film in a theatre and send a one-line answer to the makers’ WhatsApp number, 7330608675, within five minutes of the interval. They must also submit a photograph of their ticket. Poorvaaj said entries received during that window will be recorded, and the makers have documented their official answer on video with the date as proof.
Cast and Crew Back the Film
Killer features Jyoti Poorvaj and Poorvaaj in the lead roles, with Manish Gillada, Chandrakanth Kollu, Ayanabattina Dasaratha Madhav, Vishal Raj, Archana Ananth and Gautham Chakradhar Koppisetti in important roles. Made with the blessings of Dhyanam Nannagaru, the film is produced by Poorvaaj and Padmanabha Reddy A under Think Cinema and AU & I Studios. Urvish Poorvaj presents the film, which is directed by Poorvaaj. OMG Pictures is handling overseas distribution.
At the event, cast and crew members described the film as a suspense-filled theatrical experience and urged audiences to watch it in cinemas. Actor Manish Gillada praised the team’s commitment, while Chandrakanth said the characters would surprise viewers. Line producer Seetharam, who also appears in the film, said audiences would understand the importance of his role after watching it.
Jyoti Poorvaj Announces “Super She” Awards
Jyoti Poorvaj said the film’s premieres would begin the evening before its release and expressed confidence in the team’s work. She also announced that eight women selected through the “Super She” contest—who had shared what they would do if they had superpowers—would each receive ₹20,000. She praised women’s inner strength and paid tribute to soldiers, describing their service as extraordinary.
Poorvaaj said the story could continue across four or five instalments and praised Jyoti’s performances in multiple roles. He said the contest was created to involve audiences directly and encouraged people to watch Killer if its promotional material interests them.
