Fire Contained Outside Prime Focus Studios
A fire at the Mumbai shooting location of Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana briefly caused panic before it was contained. Federation of Western India Cine Employees president BN Tiwari told India Today that the flames originated in one of the tents outside Prime Focus Studios. According to him, the fire was controlled before it could spread further or threaten the film set and those present. He described the incident as minor, confirming that nobody was injured and the damage was limited.
FWICE Calls For Stronger Safety Precautions
Tiwari said producers had recently been advised to strengthen safety measures following another fire at a nearby location. He attributed the latest incident to carelessness and urged film teams to take adequate precautions against similar accidents. His comments highlighted the need to follow safety instructions even when an incident causes little damage. Shooting resumed once the initial panic subsided. Besides Ramayana, the television productions Hustle and Pati Patni Aur Panga are also being filmed at Prime Focus Studios.

It depicts Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama facing Yash as Ravana against a cosmic backdrop, presenting their confrontation as a central promotional image.
