Currently in the filming stage, the movie is being mounted on an impressive scale with a story that explores faith, divine intervention and the extraordinary strength associated with Goddess Kanaka Durga. The makers aim to present devotional themes through an engaging narrative suited to contemporary audiences.

Allari Naresh Leads the Powerful Story

Allari Naresh plays the principal role in the film, with Kajal Choudhary appearing as the female lead. Pradeep Maddali is directing ‘Kanakadurga’, while noted writer BVS Ravi has provided the story. The collaboration of these talents has created considerable interest around the project. While its spiritual foundation remains central to the narrative, the film is expected to move beyond the conventions of a traditional devotional drama by incorporating action, strong emotions and commercially appealing storytelling.

Inspired by Goddess Kanaka Durga

The film takes inspiration from the divine power and spiritual significance of Sri Kanaka Durga Ammavaru, one of the most revered forms of the Hindu goddess. It is being developed as a combination of devotion, action, emotion and music. Through its story, ‘Kanakadurga’ seeks to portray how faith can give individuals courage, hope and strength during difficult circumstances. The makers promise a visually striking experience that respects the sacred subject while delivering the scale, intensity and emotional depth expected from a major theatrical production.

Thaman’s Music and Z5 Telugu Streaming

Music is expected to be one of the film’s major highlights, with sensational composer S. Thaman creating its soundtrack and background score. His involvement is likely to strengthen both the devotional atmosphere and the action-driven moments of the narrative. ‘Kanakadurga’ has also been officially included in Z5 Telugu’s extensive post-theatrical movie lineup. The film will first receive a worldwide theatrical release before becoming available exclusively for streaming on Z5 Telugu. The theatrical release date and further details about the supporting cast and technical team are expected to be announced by the makers in the coming months.
