Rishab Shetty Spider-Man fan moment has attracted attention ahead of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day India release. The Kantara star discusses his admiration for Peter Parker, his Marvel collaboration and why the superhero remains special to his family.
Rishab Shetty Celebrates His Love for Spider-Man
National Award-winning actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty has revealed that he has been a devoted Spider-Man fan for many years. Ahead of the theatrical release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the Kantara star appeared in a special promotional video celebrating the popular Marvel superhero.
The video features an entertaining encounter in which Rishab unexpectedly crosses paths with Spider-Man. He then shares his personal connection with the character and explains how his admiration began when he first watched a Spider-Man movie in a single-screen theatre. The Rishab Shetty Marvel collaboration brings together one of Indian cinema’s most recognised performers and one of the world’s most popular fictional heroes.
Peter Parker’s Journey Inspired the Kantara Star
Speaking about his experience, Rishab said he immediately connected with Peter Parker when he watched Spider-Man for the first time. According to the actor, Peter Parker’s struggles, mistakes and emotional setbacks make the superhero relatable to audiences of different generations.
Rishab explained that Spider-Man’s story shows people that making mistakes or facing heartbreak does not define them. What matters is holding on to kindness and continuing to do the right thing. He believes this human quality distinguishes Spider-Man from many other superheroes and has helped the character remain relevant for decades.
The Message of Responsibility Remains Relevant
The Kantara star Rishab Shetty also highlighted Spider-Man’s most famous lesson: great power comes with great responsibility. He said the message remains meaningful regardless of a person’s age, profession or position in life.
Rishab’s appreciation for the superhero has only grown stronger over time. The actor revealed that Spider-Man is now equally special to his children, turning his personal childhood admiration into a shared family interest. His children have already encouraged him to book tickets so that they can watch Spider-Man: Brand New Day together on the big screen.
This family connection adds a personal element to the Spider-Man special video. Rather than appearing only as a celebrity promoting a film, Rishab speaks as a genuine Marvel superhero fan who understands the emotional appeal of Peter Parker’s journey.
