The promotional journey of Chennai Love Story gained strong momentum as the film’s grand Love Carnival event was held at Raj Yuvraj Theatre in Vijayawada amid loud cheers from fans and film lovers. The event turned into a lively celebration of love, music and cinema, with Andhra Pradesh Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju and State Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh attending as chief guests. Jana Sena Party leader Panchakarla Sandeep was also present at the event. The makers used the occasion to officially launch the film’s fourth lyrical single, “Hoyila Hoyila,” adding to the growing buzz around the romantic entertainer. The event also highlighted the emotional tone of the film, with several team members saying that Chennai Love Story will offer a fresh and heartfelt love story to audiences. Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni shared that the event was initially planned in Visakhapatnam but was shifted to Vijayawada due to heavy rains, making it even more special because Vijayawada is his hometown. He said Telugu cinema has seen many love stories, but this film is expected to remain memorable for a long time. He also praised hero Kiran Abbavaram for his dedication, revealing that the actor worked extremely hard for the film and even shot continuously for long hours during the final stretch. Dheeraj said Sri Gouri Priya will receive wider recognition through the film and added that director Ravi Namburii has shaped the movie with sincerity, even though he could not attend the event because of ongoing post-production work.

Hero Kiran Abbavaram expressed strong confidence in Chennai Love Story, saying that Raj Yuvraj Theatre has always been lucky for him. He recalled that events for some of his earlier films were also held at the same venue and said he believes this film will bring even greater success. Kiran said watching the songs with the audience made him eager to experience the full film with them in theatres. He promised Telugu audiences across the world that Chennai Love Story will present a love story unlike anything seen before on the big screen. According to him, the film will take viewers through an unforgettable emotional journey for nearly three hours and will leave a lasting impact after they leave the theatre. He described his character Steven as soft, emotional and deeply connected to the story. After doing a mass entertainer recently, Kiran said he is returning to a gentle and emotional role and expressed confidence that audiences will love Steven. Actress Sri Gouri Priya also shared her happiness at celebrating the film with audiences in Vijayawada. She said watching the teaser and songs with fans was an emotional experience, especially because the team has worked on the film for more than a year. She added that Steven and Nidhi’s love story will feel new and relatable, and by the end of the film, both characters will become like best friends to viewers. He praised music director Mani Sharma for once again delivering memorable compositions and said Kiran Abbavaram looks natural and settled on screen. He also appreciated Sri Gouri Priya for her expressive performance and said the film appears to be made with sincerity and good taste. The minister noted that although the title has Chennai in it, the film beautifully showcases Andhra Pradesh’s coastline, including locations like Chirala, Bapatla and Suryalanka. He said the government is committed to supporting the Telugu film industry through efficient permissions and invited filmmakers to explore Andhra Pradesh as a major production destination. Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju also praised Kiran Abbavaram for his humble nature and natural performances. He said the songs suggest that Chennai Love Story will touch audiences emotionally. He also appreciated Sri Gouri Priya as a talented Telugu actress and said she should sing in one of her future films. Story writer and producer Sai Rajesh said he has already watched the film multiple times and believes it will win hearts. He added that if his earlier film Baby had powerful emotions, Chennai Love Story will deliver even stronger emotional moments. Producer SKN said hosting the event in Vijayawada was personally special because the city holds many memories for him. He spoke about the rich locations available across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema and said filmmakers do not always need to travel outside the Telugu states for shoots. He revealed that most of Chennai Love Story was filmed in Andhra Pradesh, including large beach-side sets. SKN also said the government extended strong support by granting permissions efficiently, which reflects its interest in helping the film industry grow. He added that July 24 is a special release date for him because memorable films like Indra and Tholi Prema also released on that date. The makers also confirmed that premieres will begin on July 23, ahead of the film’s grand release on July 24. Backed by the successful creative combination of SKN and Sai Rajesh, known for films like Color Photo and Baby, the film is produced under Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers. It has story by Sai Rajesh and direction by Ravi Namburii. With Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya playing the lead roles, the film is being promoted as an emotional romantic drama that explores love, life and relationships in a meaningful way.
