Actor Vishal said his long-time dream of becoming a director has finally come true with Makutam, as the film’s second single Nachchaake Vachera was launched.
Actor Vishal, who is starring in and directing Makutam, said the film is a dream-come-true moment for him. The movie marks the 99th production of the prestigious Super Good Films banner and is produced by the late RB Choudary. The makers recently launched the second single Nachchaake Vachera on Sunday, June 28, after the teaser and first single The Rise of Linga received a good response from audiences.
Speaking at the launch event, Vishal said he had always dreamt of becoming a director ever since he watched Shiva. He added that he deeply missed RB Choudary and felt grateful for being trusted with such an important project. Vishal said he had dedicated the past year completely to Makutam and tried to use everything he learned from the directors he worked with over the years.
Actress Anjali, who reunites with Vishal after Madha Gaja Raja, said she plays a powerful and important role in the film. She praised Vishal’s hard work as both actor and director and said she hopes Makutam gives him great success. She also appreciated GV Prakash’s music and said Nachchaake Vachera is one of her favourite songs from the album.
Jithan Ramesh, Ajay, Jhansi and singer Prabha also shared their happiness at the event. Jithan Ramesh said Makutam will be a proud film for Super Good Films, while Ajay praised Vishal’s dedication as a director. Jhansi said her role in the film is different from anything she has done before. Singer Prabha thanked Vishal and GV Prakash for giving her the opportunity to sing her first feature-film song.
