Known for completely surrendering himself to complex roles, the actor appears in a never-before-seen look in Rao Bahadur. Director Venkatesh Maha said Rao Bahadur is one of the most special films of his life and career. He thanked Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar for understanding and trusting the film. Actress Deepa Thomas plays the female lead opposite Satyadev in Rao Bahadur.
