Known for completely surrendering himself to complex roles, the actor appears in a never-before-seen look in Rao Bahadur. Director Venkatesh Maha said Rao Bahadur is one of the most special films of his life and career. He thanked Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar for understanding and trusting the film. He also thanked producers Anurag, Sharath and the entire team for supporting a difficult and ambitious subject. Venkatesh Maha said making this film was not easy and required several bold decisions. He praised Satyadev for trusting his vision and said the actor spent nearly five hours every day in makeup for the role. Actress Deepa Thomas plays the female lead opposite Satyadev in Rao Bahadur. Speaking at the event, she said it was an honour to make her Telugu cinema debut through a film presented by Mahesh Babu’s banner.
