Naga Chaitanya’s Dhootha 2 has officially started with King Nagarjuna giving the first clap, raising expectations for the supernatural thriller’s second season.
Dhootha 2 Officially Begins
Naga Chaitanya’s successful OTT thriller franchise Dhootha is now moving forward with its second season. Titled Dhootha 2, the series was launched grandly with a traditional puja ceremony. King Nagarjuna Akkineni attended the event as the chief guest and gave the first clap, making the launch more special for Akkineni fans. After the strong response to the first season on Amazon Prime Video, the second season has already created good curiosity among Telugu OTT audiences.
Naga Chaitanya Turns Producer
The first season of Dhootha helped Naga Chaitanya show a new side of his acting talent in the digital space. Now, he is taking his association with the franchise one step further by joining as a producer. Along with Sharrath Marar, the project is being produced by Annapurna Studios and NorthStar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. This move shows Naga Chaitanya’s confidence in the story and the strong potential of the Dhootha universe.
Vikram K Kumar Returns As Director
Vikram K Kumar, who directed the first season, is returning to handle Dhootha 2. His gripping narration, mystery setup and supernatural treatment were major strengths of the original series. This time, the makers are planning a bigger and more intense season with suspense, psychological thrills and supernatural elements. Parvathy Thiruvothu and Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen in key roles, adding more strength to the cast.
Expectations Rise For The Thriller
The technical team includes V. Mukeshwaran as cinematographer, Ishaan Chhabra as music composer, Pravallya D as production designer and Anusha Punjala as costume designer. With a strong cast, trusted director and Naga Chaitanya’s new role as producer, Dhootha 2 is expected to be mounted on a larger scale than the first season.
