The makers of Maremma have released their first single, “Baava Baava,” marking an exciting step in the film’s promotions. The movie introduces Maadhav, son of actor Raghu and nephew of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, in his debut role. Directed by Manchala Nagaraj, who is also making his directorial debut, the film is produced under Moksha Arts by Mayur Reddy Bandaru. After generating curiosity with its first-look poster and teaser, the team now builds momentum with this soulful track.
Composed by Prashanth R Vihari, “Baava Baava” blends traditional folk elements with modern musical touches, creating a soothing and engaging listening experience. The song is written from the perspective of a maradalu, with Kamal Eslavath’s lyrics expressing admiration and affection in a simple, heartfelt manner. Singer Shruthi Ranjani’s rustic and raw vocals bring authenticity, adding emotional depth and perfectly capturing the essence of rural life.
On screen, Maadhav and Deepa Balu showcase a natural and charming chemistry that enhances the song’s appeal. Their performances, set against scenic countryside visuals, beautifully complement the music’s earthy tone. With cinematography by Prasanth Ankireddy, editing by Dev Rathod, and art direction by Rajkumar Murugesan, Maremma promises a rich visual and emotional experience. The release date of the film is expected to be announced soon.
