It is a common tradition in the film industry for new production houses to give special attention to their banner identity, including logo design and title presentation. Many producers also follow a spiritual sentiment by performing puja rituals before officially announcing their banner. Following this tradition, the banner launch of the film Vedavyas took place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Sai Baba Temple in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, with religious rituals and formal ceremonies.

The film is being directed by S. V. Krishna Reddy and presented by K. Achchi Reddy, while newcomer producer Kommoori Pratap Reddy has named his banner Sai Pragathi Films. The launch event was conducted in a traditional manner, with the key members attending in customary attire and offering prayers to Sai Baba before unveiling the banner. 

Vedavyas is said to be a family-oriented film with a blend of spiritual themes and a scientific approach. The film is currently in its final stages of production and is gearing up for post-production work. Pidugu Vishwanath is being introduced as the lead actor, alongside international talents like Korean actress June Hyunji and Mongolian actor Sharan Bold. The film also features a strong supporting cast including Sai Kumar, Suman, Babu Mohan, Shivaji Raja, Ali, Uttej, Raghu Babu, Ajay Ghosh, IMAX Venkat, Vidyullekha, and Rajeshwari Nair. Directed, written, and musically composed by S. V. Krishna Reddy, the film is expected to be released soon.
