Bhogi First Look: Sharwa’s Action-Packed Transformation in Sampath Nandi’s Pan-India Thriller

Bhogi marks a major milestone in Sharwa's career as he teams up for the first time with director Sampath Nandi for an ambitious pan-India period action drama. Produced by KK Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts, Bhogi is set to be one of the most grandiose projects of Sharwa’s career. The film’s first-look poster, unveiled today, gives fans a shocking glimpse of Sharwa’s rugged transformation, revealing a ferocious, mass avatar unlike anything seen before. With a thick, unkempt beard, wild curly hair, and intense eyes, Sharwa looks every bit the battle-hardened warrior, ready to engage in brutal confrontations.

Set against the backdrop of the late 1960s, along the North Telangana–Maharashtra border, Bhogi promises to deliver high-octane action, with Sharwa wielding a massive rustic machete-like weapon, hinting at the violent world his character inhabits. The smoky, ember-filled background amplifies the film's intense atmosphere, encapsulating the tagline “A Blood Fest.” The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi as the leading ladies, with Sharwa undergoing a significant physical transformation to bring his character to life in this gritty, high-stakes action drama.

Directed by Sampath Nandi, Bhogi features large-scale action sequences choreographed by renowned stunt master Dilip Subbarayan. With a strong technical team on board, including Kiran Kumar Manne for production design, Kishore Kumar Arokia for cinematography, and music by Bheems Ceciroleo, the film is shaping up to be a visual and auditory spectacle. The film will be released on August 28, 2026, across multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
