Prominent producer Dil Raju has launched a new banner called DilRaju Dreams, aimed at encouraging young talent. His first project under this banner, Markandeya, stars Vikranth, a rising actor who gained recognition for Santhana Prapthirasthu. Directed by Sistla VMK, Markandeya is a mythological thriller that presents a modern interpretation of the Markandeya legend. The film was launched with a grand teaser event in Hyderabad, and D. Suresh Babu, a prominent figure in the industry, unveiled the teaser, praising the film for its unique storytelling.

During the event, Vikranth expressed his excitement about playing the lead in Markandeya and shared his journey from facing challenges as a hero to finding success with his previous project. The film showcases the hardships faced by the protagonist, who, with the blessings of Lord Shiva, overcomes obstacles through human emotions and resilience. Producer Dil Raju also shared his personal connection to the film, recalling his own struggles and how Vikranth’s passion for acting and desire for success resonated with him. Dil Raju emphasized that Markandeya marks the beginning of his journey with DilRaju Dreams, and that the banner aims to focus on supporting newcomers while providing creative freedom.

The film’s music, composed by Hari SR, is expected to be a major highlight, with director Sistla VMK mentioning that the film will feature significant visual effects. The release is scheduled for Mahashivaratri next year. Dil Raju also revealed that DilRaju Dreams plans to produce several more films, with a mix of theatrical and OTT releases.
