Kanimozhi Karunanidhi has expressed strong confidence in the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) retaining power in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. She stated that the party has effectively handled challenges and remains well-positioned to secure another term.
Kanimozhi alleged that attempts were made to create confusion among voters ahead of polling, including concerns around electoral roll revisions and enforcement actions. However, she said the DMK had successfully countered these issues and ensured clarity among the electorate.
Chief Minister M. K. Stalin also intensified campaign efforts, interacting with voters during outreach programmes in Chennai. The party leadership has projected confidence in its performance and expects strong public support.
Tamil Nadu is set to vote in a single phase, with the ruling DMK-led alliance facing opposition from the NDA and other regional players. The election outcome will determine whether the current government secures another term amid a competitive political landscape.
