KTR Targets Revanth Reddy Government Over Telangana Decline Claims
BRS working president KTR has intensified his attack on the Congress government, accusing it of failing Telangana’s farmers, youth, and welfare promises.
KTR Sharpens Attack On Congress Government
Telangana politics have heated up again after BRS working president KT Rama Rao launched a strong attack on the Congress government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Speaking at a Press Club Hyderabad event, KTR alleged that Telangana had seen a decline after Congress came to power and accused the ruling party of betraying the aspirations of the statehood movement.
Claims Over Promises And Governance
KTR said the previous BRS government had pushed growth in agriculture, irrigation, drinking water, education, healthcare, welfare, and industry. He alleged that the present government had failed to show results despite making major election promises. The remarks may gain attention among voters as issues like farmer support, welfare promises, and free power remain politically sensitive in Telangana.
Farmers And Free Power In Focus
The BRS leader also raised concerns over paddy procurement and free electricity for farmers. He alleged delays at procurement centres and claimed any move to weaken the 24-hour free power supply would face strong opposition from BRS. KTR further claimed that BRS could win more than 90 Assembly seats if elections were held now, signalling that the party will continue targeting Congress over its governance record.
