Tampa Hosts American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin 2026 Convention

The American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin has opened registration for its 2026 Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly, set to take place from July 2 to 5, 2026, in Tampa. The event is expected to be one of the organisation’s largest gatherings, bringing together medical professionals from across the United States and around the world.

The convention will focus on fostering unity within the community while promoting excellence in healthcare and innovation. Organisers noted that this year’s event coincides with the 250th anniversary of America’s independence, adding special significance to the celebrations.

A major highlight will be the comprehensive scientific programme, featuring Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions led by leading experts. These sessions will cover the latest developments in clinical practice, research, and emerging medical technologies, offering valuable insights to attendees.

Beyond academics, the convention will include cultural programmes, networking opportunities, and community events. Organisers have also planned dedicated sessions for young physicians and medical students to encourage knowledge exchange and nurture future leadership within the medical community.

With strong participation expected, AAPI leaders have urged early registration, emphasising that the convention will serve as a platform for collaboration, innovation, and celebrating the contributions of Indian-origin physicians worldwide.
