Vijay Goes Digital: TVK Uses Hologram Tech for Election Campaign

Vijay’s party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), has introduced a tech-driven campaign strategy by deploying hologram projections of its leader to connect with voters across Tamil Nadu.

With elections approaching, the party is using life-sized 3D holograms of Vijay to address public gatherings, enabling him to virtually appear in multiple locations at once. The initiative was first rolled out in Kumbakonam, where the hologram was showcased alongside local candidates during campaign events.

The technology works by projecting a pre-recorded speech, creating the effect of a real-time appearance. This allows the party to deliver a consistent message to voters across different constituencies while overcoming logistical challenges of physical travel.

The use of hologram projections reflects a broader shift toward digital campaigning, combining innovation with traditional outreach methods to maximise reach and visibility during the election season. As campaigning intensifies, TVK is expected to expand this approach to more constituencies, highlighting the growing role of technology in shaping modern political strategies.
