Yash and Tara Sutaria’s Madhosh, the second song from Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, explores the tender and emotionally complicated relationship between Raya and Rebecca through love, longing and unspoken feelings.
Madhosh Reveals a Softer Side of ToxicAfter the strong response to the first song, Tabaahi, the makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have released the film’s second track, Madhosh. Presented by Monster Mind Creations, KVN Productions and Zee Music Company, the new romantic song introduces a quieter and more emotional layer of the film. While Tabaahi focused on the intense rush of passion, Madhosh explores tenderness, vulnerability, yearning and the feelings that remain unexpressed between two people. The song expands the emotional world of Toxic by showing that every relationship carries different shades of love.
Yash and Tara Sutaria Bring Raya and Rebecca to LifeMadhosh features Rocking Star Yash as Raya alongside Tara Sutaria as Rebecca. Their chemistry appears playful and effortless on the surface, but the song also hints at emotional conflict and unresolved longing. Raya remains the powerful and unpredictable man introduced earlier, yet his relationship with Rebecca brings out a softer and more carefree side of his personality. At the same time, the visuals suggest that the chaos within him has not completely disappeared. The song therefore presents their relationship as a combination of romance, warmth, uncertainty and emotions left unsaid.
Siddharth Basrur Sings the Track in Five LanguagesThe romantic anthem has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami and Faheem Abdullah. Singer Siddharth Basrur has performed the track across all five major language versions, giving the song a consistent emotional identity. It has been released as Madhosh in Hindi, Manamohaka in Kannada, Manasaagadhe in Telugu, Thadumaarudheyyy in Tamil and MadhuMohini in Malayalam. The lyrics were written by Pramod Maravanthe for Kannada, Arslan Nizami and Syed Murad Gilani for Hindi, RamaJogaiah Sastry for Telugu, Vignesh Shivan for Tamil and Rajeev Govindan for Malayalam.
Composer Tanishk Bagchi described Madhosh as a track that captures the emotional journey of Raya and Rebecca, combining love, longing and playful romance. Siddharth Basrur added that the song is not limited to heartbreak, but reflects everything that remains unspoken between two people. He approached the vocals with honesty and vulnerability while allowing the emotional intensity to gradually build.
