Trivikram Srinivas and Thaman’s successful musical partnership may not extend to the director’s upcoming film with Jr NTR. Anirudh Ravichander has been announced as the composer, while recent industry reports suggest a reunion with Thaman is unlikely for this project.

A Long-Running Creative Partnership

Tollywood directors often work repeatedly with composers they trust. SS Rajamouli has maintained his association with MM Keeravani, while Sukumar has collaborated with Devi Sri Prasad on several films. There is also speculation about whether DSP will compose Sukumar’s next project with Ram Charan. Trivikram Srinivas and Thaman built a similar partnership over time, creating strong expectations that the composer would continue as the director’s regular collaborator.

How Trivikram and Thaman’s Association Grew

Their collaboration gained momentum with Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Thaman later composed music for several films directed by Trivikram and also worked on projects presented by him, including Bro and Bheemla Nayak. That history made Thaman a familiar part of Trivikram’s film soundscape, so many expected the duo to reunite for the filmmaker’s next project with Jr NTR.

Anirudh Has Been Announced as Composer

Anirudh Ravichander has been officially announced as the music director for the upcoming Jr NTR film. Earlier reports suggested Thaman might be considered if Anirudh and Trivikram could not find the right creative sync or faced scheduling difficulties. However, recent industry buzz indicates that this possibility is now unlikely. Reports have linked the speculation to the response to Adarsha Kutumbam, saying its music and background score did not meet audience expectations. The filmmakers have not confirmed that this has affected their working relationship.

Attention Turns to the Film’s Music

With Anirudh on board, attention has shifted to the album and background score he will create for the Jr NTR–Trivikram combination. Details about the film’s music and production schedule have not been announced. Reports have also prompted questions about whether Trivikram will work with Thaman on future projects. For now, there is no confirmation that their partnership has ended permanently; the possibility of another collaboration remains open.
