November is usually a quieter period for Telugu cinema, with many major releases reserved for festive seasons such as Sankranti, summer and Dasara. This year, however, several films are reportedly eyeing November 12 and 13, creating a busy two-day release window.
The confirmed schedule already includes Sharwanand’s Bhogi on November 12 and Mouli Tanuj Prasanth’s Donga Naa Koduku on November 13. Other titles being reported for the same window include Itllu Arjuna, Dark Chocolate, Romeo Juliet, Sudheer’s GOAT, Ah, Talcum Powder, Chandrayaan and Maya Lady. Release plans for some of these films may change.
Nagarjuna and Mani Ratnam’s Geethanjali is also scheduled to return to theatres in a 4K re-release on November 13.
Bhogi Has Started Its Promotions
Directed by Sampath Nandi, Bhogi features Sharwanand in a rugged rural role. The film has released its teaser and two songs, giving it an early start in the promotional race. It is scheduled to open on November 12.
Release Dates Could Still Shift
A concentrated release window can make it harder for films to secure screens and stand out with audiences. Promotion and word of mouth may help, but the eventual impact will depend on which releases hold their dates and how theatres schedule them.
With Bhogi and Donga Naa Koduku among the announced releases, and several more titles reportedly targeting the same dates, November 12–13 could become a notably crowded period for Telugu cinema.
