Vijay Deverakonda and Sandeep Reddy Vanga Praise EPIC
The pre-release event at Daspalla Hotel, Hyderabad, welcomed Vijay Deverakonda and Sandeep Reddy Vanga as chief guests. Vijay praised Anand’s script choices, Vaishnavi’s talent and Aditya’s impact with 90s, predicting that EPIC would become a beautiful addition to Anand’s filmography. Sandeep recalled recognising Anand’s passion for cinema while he worked in the US. Praising Anand’s natural performances, he described Aditya’s writing as mature and applauded the teaser, trailer and Hesham Abdul Wahab’s music.
A Natural Story of Love, Family and Responsibility
Anand described EPIC as the story of a generation navigating love, family and responsibilities. He said it is a simple, realistic romance without forced twists, violence or a conventional villain. Vaishnavi plays Kadali, a confident woman whose journey taught her to remain strong and stand up for herself. She praised Anand’s honesty as a performer and hoped viewers would appreciate their new attempt. Actor Shivaji added that audiences across generations would recognise their own emotions in the film.
Naga Vamsi Highlights the Family Appeal
Producer Naga Vamsi said the film presents a young couple’s relationship with purity while exploring practical problems, parent-child misunderstandings and the need to understand one’s partner. Nearly one hour and 40 minutes of its 2-hour-20-minute runtime features conversations between Anand and Vaishnavi. The story follows a soft-spoken rural Telangana boy who falls for a confident young woman, creating several heartfelt moments. He said EPIC can be enjoyed with a partner, friends or family.
Aditya Hasan Promises to Honour Audience Trust
Aditya said the faith audiences placed in him after 90s inspired him to meet their expectations. Drawn from the society he observed, the story features Anand and Vaishnavi as Aditya and Kadali. Hesham called EPIC a special project that allowed him to explore a new musical side. Presented by Srikara Studios under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film’s event was hosted by Suma Kanakala and attended by cast and crew members.
