Prabhas’ much-awaited Pan India film ‘Fauzi’, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, has unveiled a powerful Independence Day poster highlighting the sacrifice behind India’s freedom. The period action drama, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series, is set for a worldwide release on December 3, 2026.
Fauzi Poster Turns Independence Day Into a Tribute
Rebel Star Prabhas’ upcoming Pan India project ‘Fauzi’ continues to build anticipation with a striking new poster released on the occasion of Independence Day. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the grand period action spectacle is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series. Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Bhushan Kumar are backing the film. From its title announcement and pre-look to the first-look material, the makers have steadily positioned ‘Fauzi’ as one of the major upcoming releases in Indian cinema.
Unlike conventional Independence Day posters filled with celebratory imagery, the new visual focuses on the violence, struggle and sacrifice that preceded freedom. The poster shows a conflict-ravaged landscape filled with smoke, fire, destruction and scattered debris, while Hyderabad’s iconic Charminar can be seen in the distance. The imagery gives the film a strong historical atmosphere and suggests that the narrative will explore a turbulent period shaped by war and resistance.
Prabhas Appears in a Fierce Battle-Worn Avatar
Prabhas is presented in a rugged and intense look, although his face remains hidden in the poster. His clothes are stained with blood and dirt, his body appears battered and he is seen walking barefoot through devastated streets while carrying two short guns. Another character dressed in traditional Indian attire walks ahead of him holding a long stick, adding further intrigue to the composition.
The makers have reinforced the emotional impact of the poster with the line, “Before freedom became a celebration, it was a battle!” The message shifts the focus from Independence Day festivities to the years of courage and sacrifice that made freedom possible. Another line, “Saluting the spirit of every Fauzi who fought for our tomorrow,” connects the film’s title directly with those who fought for the country’s future.
Strong Cast Joins Prabhas in the Period Action Drama
Imanvi plays the female lead opposite Prabhas in ‘Fauzi’. The film also features an experienced supporting cast that includes Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Bhanu Chandar in prominent roles. Their presence adds considerable weight to the period drama and further raises expectations around its scale and narrative.
With Hanu Raghavapudi directing Prabhas in a historical action setting, the film is expected to blend large-scale action with strong emotional and patriotic themes. The Independence Day poster strengthens that positioning by presenting the story as a tribute to courage rather than simply a conventional action spectacle.
Fauzi Set for Worldwide Release on December 3, 2026
‘Fauzi’ also brings together a strong technical team. Sudeep Chatterjee is handling the cinematography, while Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music. Anil Vilas Jadhav is overseeing the production design, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is handling the editing.
With its war-torn visual world, Prabhas’ intense avatar, an ensemble cast and a message centred on sacrifice, ‘Fauzi’ has added another layer of intrigue with its Independence Day poster. The Pan India period action drama is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on December 3, 2026.
