Balakrishna Injured During NBK111 Action Shoot
Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna reportedly sustained a minor muscle tear while shooting a high-intensity action sequence for his upcoming movie, tentatively titled NBK111, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. The incident occurred during the film’s ongoing Kakinada production schedule, reportedly planned from July 17 to July 23, 2026.
Action scenes often require physically demanding movements, and the actor reportedly experienced discomfort while performing one of the sequences. The production team immediately arranged medical attention to assess the injury and determine the necessary treatment.
Doctors Advise Minor Surgical Procedure
Following the incident on July 21, 2026, Balakrishna was examined by doctors, who reportedly advised him to undergo a minor surgical procedure. The treatment is expected to support a faster and more complete recovery.
Reports indicate that the procedure is routine and that there is no major cause for concern regarding the actor’s health. Balakrishna is likely to take a brief break from filming and resume work after receiving clearance from his medical team. However, as of July 22, 2026, no official date had been announced for his return to the NBK111 shooting schedule.
Film Team Praises Balakrishna’s Dedication
The NBK111 team praised Balakrishna for his dedication and commitment to the project following the reported injury. Known for performing energetic action sequences and maintaining a demanding shooting schedule, the actor continues to inspire the cast and crew with his professional approach.
The production team may adjust the remaining Kakinada schedule, which was planned to continue until July 23, 2026, while Balakrishna recovers. Although the injury could temporarily affect scenes involving him, filming may continue with sequences featuring other cast members.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, NBK111 has generated considerable attention following the release of its birthday glimpse. The film reportedly features Manchu Manoj and Kajal Aggarwal in important roles and is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru on a large scale.
