Directed by Chettan DK and written and produced by Sagar B Shinde, The India Story focuses on the dangerous impact of chemical misuse, especially in pesticide farming. The film aims to explore how such practices affect public health and silently damage countless lives. Instead of telling only one individual or family’s story, the narrative looks at a larger national concern connected to industrial negligence, farming practices, awareness and accountability.

The technical team includes DOP Nishant Bhagwat, music composer Mangesh Dhakde, editor Ashish Mhatre, lyricist Shakeel Azami and sound designer Anmol Bhave. The film will release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil as a Zee Studios worldwide release, making it one of the socially relevant dramas to watch out for in July 2026.
