Yash’s Toxic has been postponed after a strong CinemaCon response to ensure a bigger and more impactful global theatrical release.
Following an impressive response at CinemaCon, the release of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, has been postponed for a larger global rollout. Initially scheduled to hit theatres on June 4, 2026, the film will now release on a new date to be announced soon. The makers, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, confirmed that the decision was taken to maximize the film’s international reach.

With the project now complete, the team is focusing on securing global distribution deals and building key international partnerships to ensure the film reaches audiences worldwide at the intended scale. The film is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, who also directs the project.
Toxic features a star-studded cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria. Shot in Kannada and English, the film will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Yash, in a statement, said the delay reflects the team’s commitment to delivering a film that represents Indian cinema on the global stage with maximum impact.
