Sarkar Bai Movie Launched with Grand Ceremony at Secunderabad Ganesh Temple
The much-awaited film Sarkar Bai, directed by Lara, was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony at the Ganesh Temple in Secunderabad. The event marked the beginning of a significant project set against a Telangana social backdrop. The film features Sriram Nimmala and Sai Keerthana in the lead roles, and it aims to address social issues such as caste discrimination and water-related incidents that occurred in 1985. During the muhurtham ceremony, producer Tummala Praful Ram Reddy switched on the camera, and the first shot was directed by Lara. Telangana Income Tax Officer Dasaram gave the muhurtham clap.

Speaking at the ceremony, director Lara emphasized the film’s real-life inspiration, which highlights the struggles and social challenges faced by people. She expressed confidence that Sarkar Bai, with its socially relevant themes, would resonate deeply with audiences in both Telugu states. Lara also called for support for meaningful cinema that addresses important societal issues. The film’s supporting cast includes notable actors like Baahubali Prabhakar, Naga Mahesh, Dil Ramesh, and Chalaki Chanti, among others.
The remaining cast members will be confirmed soon, and the shooting of Sarkar Bai is scheduled to begin later this month. The film's launch event at the Ganesh Temple was filled with energy and excitement, with the film team and guests conveying their best wishes for the project’s success.
