According to reports, another CID team also reached Abhishek Banerjee’s office at Camac Street. The case is linked to alleged forged signatures on documents connected to TMC MLAs. Officials are expected to question Abhishek Banerjee as the disputed document was reportedly submitted after his signature.

Rebel MPs Add To Pressure

The crisis has also moved to Parliament, where rebel TMC MPs have claimed support for the BJP-led NDA. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar’s camp has reportedly said that nearly 20 MPs are ready to back the NDA, creating a serious challenge for the party’s parliamentary leadership.
